This Place Needed Updating

I had not updated this place since Sep 4, 2004, apparently, so I'm just going to put my camera debates in here.

DO I NEED A NEW CAMERA?

Fors: Mine has terrible optical zoom (x3), and I don't count the digital x4 one, it hardly has any manual features, no manual focus (imagine me pointing at something and clicking the 'shoot' button loads of times in hope it will somehow focus, and even then it doesn't...), I miss my film SLR.

Againsts: Well.. I like my digital camera. I'm somehow used to it.. and it can take pics on ISO 50.. which is random. :blush:, and even if I do decide to get a new camera - I'm not sure what the hell to get.

Meep.

Now I've voiced myself - and this thing is finally updated.

Good job.

(Uh, and help would be appreciated...)

No way! And waste entire rolls of film on one object like my Photo teacher does? I'd rather save up for a digital SLR, if those are the options.

you could buy a used digital SLR with a kit lens..it will come out much more cheaper.:)

Hi, I really love to see someone else using Pracktica Luxmedia (I use 8503 btw)...

Mine's good but no manual WB, apart from that I love my cam

Heh.. I haven't used my good ole Pracktica ever since I'd so brutally murdered it by breakind the screen.. now I've a Fuji s6500...

I love the manual focus/zoom thing... let's you feel as if you own an slr. :gummybear:
